We are going to be restarting our children’s church program. Children’s church is for little ones up to the age of 6. It is offered during the sermon time on Sunday services. Children’s church offers a Bible lesson and an activity that corresponds to the lesson. Children then return to the sanctuary following ght sermon. If you would like to help with the Children’s Church, please speak either with Samantha Gipe or Pastor Holz.
A new BIC (Bible Information Class) will begin on Sunday, August 9. What is BIC? It provides an overview of the main themes and message of the Bible. It also serves as our new member class. If you would like to grow in your understanding of God’s Word, please check out the class. It will run 13 weeks, every Sunday after worship. There is also childcare available. Questions? Mornings with Mommy is starting their fall semester on August 11. Mornings with Mommy offers structured play and learning time with parental participation. It lasts for one hour. If you would like to volunteer, or if you would like to attend Mornings with Mommy, please speak with Samantha Gipe.
Our fall Sunday school classes will begin on August 9. We are looking for teachers to join a rotation of teaching Bible lessons to the children of our congregation. If you would like to help, please speak with Erica Gibson or Pastor Holz.
Join fellow Military Service Members, Veterans, and their Spouses for a Spiritual Retreat focused on renewal, resilience, and growth in faith. Through biblical sessions, daily devotions, worship, and fellowship, participants will be encouraged in God’s truth as they navigate identity, anxiety, relationships, and the lasting impact of military service while being equipped to stand firm in Christ. The retreat will be held October 8–11, 2026 at Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch near Rochester, Minnesota. Learn more or register at www.lutheranmilitary.org.
With the use of our TV screens in worship, we are not able to show the musical notes as we sing along. One possible solution for those who would like to see the musical notes? You could purchase your own hymnal. They are available at Northwestern Publishing House for about $28. Just go to www.online.nph.net.
On Wednesday, August 12, there will be a presentation in conjunction with Clarksville city police and their anti-fraud division. They will cover basics of ecognizing some of the scams that are deceiving people, and how to recognize and limit our exposure to them. The presentation is free, and will last for one hour, followed by a question-and-answer session. It will be held on Wednesday, August 12, at 10:00 am in the fellowship hall. It is open to everyone—bring a friend!

Lunch Bunch will take place on Wednesday, July 15, at 11:30 am. Lunch will be served here at church for our older and/or retired members and friends. If you would like to attend please sign up so the hosts can get an accurate headcount for the meal preparations Our hosts will be Maureen Reid and Dian Cracraft. Pastor Holz is out of town this week, enjoying some vacation time. He will be back in the office on Saturday.
A big “thank you” to Tim Nommensen for sharing God’s Word with us today and conducting our service. Tim is a former WELS Pastor who served congregations in Freeland, MI and Reedsville, WI. He and his wife Sandy live in Paris, TN.
We will be taking a summer break from our regular Sunday morning schedule of Bible Study and Sunday School. There will not be Sunday School from Sunday, June 21-Sunday, August 2. Wednesday Bible Study will continue throughout the summer with the exception of June 10, 17 and 24. There will not be evening Bible Study on those dates.
The Steering Committee will meet on Monday June 8th, at 5:30 pm.
Today we are excited to receive our newest members into the Beautiful Savoir family. Patrick and Daniela Barbier and Louis; Angela Carobene; Angela Carobene; Ted and Misti Hull; Tommy Kidd; Meagan Larson; and Maureen Reid. God bless our newest members as we all grow together in God’s Word and work together in sharing the good news of God’s love.
Joe Mclain will be leading a painting class on Saturday June 13, , from 9am- 12pm. Please note the date change. No skill level or experience is needed. Joe will lead you through it! A donation of $10 is requested that will go to Beautiful Savior. Space is limited to the first 15 who sign up, so if you would like to attend, please sign-up on the sheet on the entryway table.
Registration is now open for Church Members and the public for both the 3-4 and the 4-5 year-old classes. If you would like to register your child, please call the office at 931-905-1400.
Pastor Holz and family are out of town this weekend, to attend the graduation of their nephew from Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI. He will be back in the office on Tuesday.
