Today we began a new bible study, the book of Genesis. Genesis is the first book of the Bible, and it all begins in this important book! The beginning of the world, of life, of people, of God’s plan of salvation is all here! Bible study begins at 9:30 in the fellowship hall. You don’t need to know or bring anything. Just come spend time in the Word of God!
We are looking for a volunteer to help make lunch on a monthly basis for our Lunch Bunch. Lunch Bunch is often attended by our older or retired members. If you would like to help, please speak with Pastor Holz.
Moms and Dads, our Mornings With Mommy has returned. All Mornings With Mommy start at 9am. Dates and themes for the Spring Schedule are: Monday, April 20 – Rain, Clouds and Puddles Monday, May 4 – Mother’s Day Flowers Monday, May 18 – Monkeys, Zebras and the Zoo Limited to 10 families per session. Sessions are $5 per family. All ages are welcome. Please go to the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church Website for Special Events Coming Up.
Lunch Bunch will take place on Wednesday, May 20th, at 11:30am. Lunch will be served here at church for our older and/or retired members and friends. If you would like to attend please sign up on the entryway table. If you have questions, please talk with Doris Harvey or Pastor Holz.
Please join us in celebrating our Preschool Class of 2025-2026. The date will be May 14, 2026, at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. Everyone is welcome.
The Steering Committee will meet Monday May 4th at 5:30 pm.
We are beginning a new Wednesday evening Bible Study on Wednesday, April 22. The study will work through the book of Daniel. Class meets weekly at 6:00pm in the fellowship hall. Everything is provided. Just come and enjoy some time with others in the word of God!
Whether this is the first time that you have been in church or this is something that you have done your whole life, there is always more to learn. We have Bible Information classes (BIC) which are a summary of the main message of the Bible. This class is also our pre-membership class. We also have mid-week Bible Study starting on April 15 (Wednesday) at 6pm in the fellowship hall. We also have every Sunday, Bible Study and Sunday School for all ages. These classes start at 9:30am on Sundays. Nothing is required. All are welcome!
The Board of Education will meet Tuesday, May 5th at 3:30 pm.
Baptism congratulations and God’s blessings today to Matthew Clay Lacey. He is the son of Hannah and David Lacey and grandson of Mike and Kate Lafave. May God keep Clay in his baptismal grace all the days of his life.
Friday, April 17, we will be having a bonfire night. Bring a chair, any games you would like for the kids, and enjoy some time to fellowship and relax. Hot dogs and s’mores will be provided. The fire will be lit at 6pm.

Following the Apr 5th 10:30 service, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt. For small children, the Egg Hunt will take place in the enclosed area of the playground. For older kids, they will seek their eggs behind the church outside the playground. Once they collect their eggs, please go to the Fellowship Hall to pick out your prizes. A blessed Easter to all!
7:00 pm Friday 4/2. This service is a service of darkness in which we remember the final “seven words” of Jesus on the cross and his final loving actions in winning our salvation. The church is progressively darkened and candles extinguished to recount Jesus’ crucifixion and death. But one light remains to remind us of the new life (Easter) that is to come.
Baptism congratulations and God’s blessings today to Theodore Lem Borders. He is the son of Jordan and Laurel Borders. May God keep Theodore in his baptismal grace all the days of his life.
7:00 pm Thursday Apr 2nd. This is a special communion service that commemorates both the “new command” that Jesus gave to his disciples to “love one another”, and also the gift of his body and blood to us in the Lord’s Supper.
Easter Worship Service 10:30 am
There will be an Easter breakfast at 9:00 am on Easter Sunday. Eggs, sausage and breakfast staples will be provided, but we are in need of fruit, pastries and other breakfast items for Easter breakfast. If you would like to bring something to share, please see the sign-up sheet on the entryway table.
We are looking for volunteers to cut the grass throughout the summer. We have a zero-turn lawn mower, trimmer, and leaf blower. We even provide the gas! What we need are people willing to spend some time on a Friday or Saturday getting the property ready for church on Sunday. If you would like to help, please see the sign-up sheet in the entryway. There are postcard invitations to our Easter worship opportunities. Think of your FRAN list (Friends, Relatives, Associates, and Neighbors) that you could give an invite to and share with them. All the information about our schedule and services is on the postcard. Please grab a few and share!
