Joe Mclain will be leading a painting class on Saturday, September 19, from 9am- 12pm. No skill level or experience is needed. Joe will lead you through it! A donation of $10 is requested that will go to Beautiful Savior. Space is limited to the first 15 who sign up, so if you would like to attend, please sign-up on the sheet on the entryway table.

The FUEL program provides high-protein meals to in-need students over the weekends when they may be without adequate nutrition. Our congregation provides this important nutrition to help students at Glenellen Elementary School. Why not consider a donation to our FUEL food program here at church? We will have a table set up in the fellowship hall to take your donations.
This year’s Confirmation Classes will begin Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 12pm, following worship. Confirmation Class is a time to grow in understanding of God’s Word, and to prepare the students to receive the Lord’s Supper as a communicant member of the congregation.

With school starting, we are restarting our youth ministries with Sunday School, Children’s Church (during the sermon time) and Mornings with Mommy. If you would like to help with any of these three service opportunities, there is one united sign-up sheet on the back table outside the sanctuary. If you have questions about serving in any of these areas, please speak with Samantha Gipe, Erica Gibson, or Pastor Holz.

A new BIC (Bible Information Class) will begin on Sunday, August 9. What is BIC? It provides an overview of the main themes and message of the Bible. It also serves as our new member class. If you would like to grow in your understanding of God’s Word, please check out the class. It will run 13 weeks, every Sunday after worship. There is also childcare available. Questions? Please speak with Pastor Holz.

Our adult Sunday School class meets in the Fellowship hall at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings.

We are going to be restarting our children’s church program. Children’s church is for little ones up to the age of 6. It is offered during the sermon time on Sunday services. Children’s church offers a Bible lesson and an activity that corresponds to the lesson. Children then return to the sanctuary following ght sermon. On Wednesday, August 12, there will be a presentation in conjunction with Clarksville city police and their anti-fraud division. They will cover basics of recognizing some of the scams that are deceiving people, and how to recognize and limit our exposure to them. The presentation is free, and will last for one hour, followed by a question-and-answer session. It will be held on Wednesday, August 12, at 10:00 am in the fellowship hall. It is open to everyone, bring a friend!

We are blessed to have food available before and after worship on Sundays. However, we simply ask that no food be brought into the classrooms or the Sanctuary. This helps out our cleaning staff and food allergy issues for the preschool. Thank you for your cooperation. Parent with little ones in church—please use your discretion!
Our fall Sunday school classes will begin on August 9. We are looking for teachers to join a rotation of teaching Bible lessons to the children of our congregation. If you would like to help, please speak with Erica Gibson or Pastor Holz.
